Hello, I am Fr. Steven Gilbert, Pastor of St. John the Evangelist, Sacred Heart, and St. Mary the Immaculate, serving the local communities of Arthur, Kenilworth, and Palmerston Ontario CANADA. About Our Pastor
I am from Kerala south west province of India. I was Ordained in the year of 1992 in Kerala. I belonged to the Diocese of of Quilon, which was the first Diocese in India. It was erected on August 9th in the year 1329. I served my Diocese as Pastor, Director of Diocesan Youth Ministry, and the Diocesan Catechetical Department. At the province level I worked as the deputy secretary to the Latin Bishops Council.
I came to Canada on January 14th, 2014, where I started my ministry in the Archdiocese of Toronto. I then joined the Diocese of Hamilton on June 2017, and became a Pastor in New Hamburg for 4 years. I came to serve St. John the Evangelist, Sacred Heart, and St. Mary the Immaculate on June 30th, 2021, where I continue to serve to this day.
